EFX has ordered two full Midas XL8 live performance systems for immediate delivery. The rental company has also pre-ordered two Klark Teknik DN9696 high-resolution hard disk recorders designed for the live recording environment, a pre-production unit of which was shown at PLASA.
Based in Bathgate near Edinburgh, EFX is a longtime Midas user and has taken the decision to invest in the next-generation Midas and Klark Teknik digital product range.
“We looked at digital consoles for a long time, and without exception felt that nothing out there could live up to what our existing stock of analog consoles could already offer,” says EFX’s John Ramsay. “We chose XL8 on its audio quality above any other consideration. It simply cannot be compared to other boards on the market, and we know our new consoles will enhance any job they go out on.”
